Follow the link, http://www.infolaw.co.uk/newsletter and go to "About the Newsletter and How to Subscribe" for more details.

The main stories covered in the latest issue include:

1. Starting a new two part series on Alternative Legal Services - contributors discuss how will legal services be delivered online in future and who will be doing it?

2. Tom Barnes of internet marketing agency BarnesGraham considers whether search engine marketing is 'just' about driving traffic to your website or whether other factors are also involved. The title of his article, "Clicks are not enough" gives you an indication of his answer to the question.

3. Legal IT Consultant, Alex Heshmaty, provides an article on "Why email newsletters?" He gives a tutorial on the why, what, when and how-to of sending out email newsletters to your visitors, clients and potential clients.

4. Alex Newson of Shoosmiths looks at different types of RSS reader, (Really Simple Synidaction) and how to manage all the information your web feeds throw at you. For those who are not yet familiar with blogs and news feeds, you can get up to spped here with this very modern (and still growing) phenomenon and find the best legal blogs.

5. Another interesting topic, the development of specialist search engines for "federated search" whereby multiple resources can be accessed in a single search, but limited to particular areas or sources. Henry Scrope of Emplaw describes the new "all but only" employment law search called ELISE (Employment Law Internet Serch Engine) developed by Emplaw.

6. Nick Holmes and James Mullan of CMS Cameron McKenna look at the way that legal publishers are using Law 2.0 (Web 2.0). The facilities now available as Law 2.0 are changing the way that legal publishers are developing their services and to some extent are even changing the defintion of law publishers.
